Mentoring
We have a number of additional programmes that we will be launching in the forthcoming months. Our first programme is named ‘Project Phoenix’, which you can read about below.
Project Phoenix
In todays difficult and demanding society, our young people are faced with constant hurdles and dilemmas in an effort to be accepted within their peer groups and communities. We at CURA recognise how quickly one or even a series of life events can have a negative influence on a young persons decision making. Cura have consulted an external provider – ‘Project Phoenix’ – who will deliver a bespoke person centred programme for our young person. Led by Sensie Ali, the team at Project Phoenix have many years experience working throughout Lancashire and have established excellent working relationships with the youth offending services and schools within the community.

Fearless and Independence Program
We provide customised programs for our young people. One of these programs is called Fearless, which addresses the challenges and consequences of certain behaviours that many young people struggle with. We educate them about different paths they can choose and how those choices can impact their future. By teaching them right from wrong, we prevent them from becoming products of their environment. This approach has proven to be successful as it empowers our young people and allows them to make their own decisions while receiving guidance from our staff. This sense of control motivates them to work with us and strive for their own success.
